Melissa Stewart is an award-winning author of more than one hundred books for young readers. She serves on the board of advisors for the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and is a judge for the American Institute of Physics Children’s Science Writing Award. Melissa earned a B.S. in biology from Union College and an M.A. in science journalism from New York University. She lives in Acton, Massachusetts, with her husband, Gerard.
